Why you got an email from us.
You may have just opened a message from Brand New Sight with a link to a new website. Here is what that was, in plain words.
The short version
We rebuild outdated websites for local service businesses. We looked at yours, made a new website as a free preview, and emailed you the private link. You don't have to do anything. If you like it, we can put it live. If you don't, ignore it.
How we found you
Your business is listed publicly, for example in open business directories, and your website's own pages are public. We looked at your website the way any visitor would, and at your contact and about pages for a business email address. We never guess email addresses. If we reached the wrong person, we're sorry, and you can stop us below.
What we kept
- Your business name, your website address, and the business email address and phone number you publish.
- Public links to your business pages and, if you publish it, the owner's name.
- Notes about your website, such as whether it fits a phone screen.
If you don't answer, we delete this six months after our last message. If you ask us to stop, we keep only a scrambled version of your address and your domain, so we never contact you again by mistake.
How to stop us
Reply "no" to our email. We stop right away, for good, on every channel at once.
Want your preview taken down? Reply "remove", or use the Remove link at the top of the preview page. It comes down right away.
About the preview
It's private: only people with your link can open it. It's labeled as an unofficial preview by Brand New Sight, it isn't listed on Google, and it expires. It uses your own public text and images, only to show what your website could look like.
